President ErdoÄŸan calls for politicians with links to ‘terrorist groups’ to be stripped of immunity from prosecution
The president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan, has said it is impossible to continue a peace process with Kurdish militants and urged parliament to strip politicians with links to “terrorist groups” of their immunity from prosecution.
His comments came as Nato envoys met in Brussels to discuss the crisis in Syria and Iraq in a special session requested by Turkey.
